Little Lapin Garden in the News
8/24/2025
We’re excited to share that Little Lapin Garden was recently featured by Rocky Mountain PBS in a story exploring lawn removal and native planting in Colorado. The piece looks at why more people are choosing to move away from traditional turf in favor of landscapes that conserve water, support pollinators, and work with — rather than against — our local climate.
Our own lawn-to-garden transition has been a learning process filled with experimentation, patience, and plenty of surprises. Replacing grass with native plants and seasonal blooms has transformed our space into one that feels more alive and intentional, and we’re grateful to be part of a broader conversation about sustainable, beautiful alternatives to the conventional lawn.
